Muhand Jumah was born and raised in Iraq until the age of 10 where he had to move to Egypt because of the unfortunate war, At the age of 14 Muhand moved to the United States. Since the age of 10 and computers have been his life and bestfriend. He started to program at 10, by the age of 16 he started his own startup where he built a facial recognition system which automates the process of taking attendance in a classroom. He was enrolled in the College of Staten Island with computer science degree where he tutored C++, C# and Java. In Junior year, he became a CLT where he assisted professors with the lecture.

    As a student, Muhand faces problems on daily basis but as a software engineer he tries to solve those problems using technology. At the age of 15 Muhand started his own startup looking to develop facial recognition systems which will automate the process of attendance. Such an application would save as much as 25 minutes every day for students, this adds up to about 5000 minutes every school year. Muhand Placed 2nd place at business competition known as NFTE (Network for teaching entrepreneurship) where he pitched this application to top investors and CEOs.

    Muhand started learning C++ at the age of 15 on his own and when he attended college he was a C++/Java/C# tutor for almost 2 years.
